Outreach from Forest Hill Funeral Home in Memphis is offering a workshop series for individuals who have experienced loss. The Healing Path Workshops begin at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26, at the Singleton Community Center (7266 Third Road, Bartlett).
Professionals from the Mid-South community will cover a different topic each week. The five-week series offers a variety of topics centered on practical next steps in the healing journey:
- Week 1: Coping with Loss … Taking Care of Mind & Body
- Week 2: Personal Safety & Home Defense
- Week 3: Financial & Pracdtical Matters
- Week 4: Animal Companions Through the Grief Journey
- Week 5: Every Day Healthy Cooking
The Healing Path Workshops are provided free of charge and open to all community members affected by loss, regardless of whether they were served by Forest Hill Funeral Home facilities.
Participants are welcome to bring a friend or family member. They are also asked to register by Jan. 19, as seating is limited.
