The NCAA Baseball Committee has selected USA Stadium in Millington, TN as one of the eight host sites for the NCAA Regional Baseball Championships. Rhodes College will be the host school. Tournament dates are Wednesday May 15-Sunday May 19, 2013. It is yet to be determined whether this will be a six or eight team regional.
USA Stadium will host the South Region. This is the third year in a row the facility has hosted one of the NCAA Division III Regionals. In 2011, the South Region was won by Salisbury University from Salisbury, Maryland and in 2012 Webster University from St. Louis was crowned champions of the Central Region.
Winners of the eight regional tournaments will qualify for the double-elimination championship at Time Warner Cable Field at Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, Wis., May 24-28.
