The family-friendly play, “The Girl Who Swallowed a Cactus,” was an adventure in magical realism when it hit the stage of Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center on Sunday. Kate Haas brings the story to life in a one-woman performance, encountering a walking, talking and surprisingly well-dressed coyote in a funny story of friendship and imagination. The performance was sponsored by Brother. For information on other upcoming BPACC events, visit BPACC.org. Photo by Scott Steele.
