An international student exchange program with teens ages 15-18 is seeking host families in and around Bartlett for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year.
Host families are needed for the fall semester and for the full school year, and applications are due by Aug. 15.
Host families (traditional families, singles, empty nesters, etc.) serve as mentors and a home base for these students.
Visiting students participate as active members of the family and integrate into their host’s daily routines and traditions.
The visiting students undergo an extensive application and orientation process in their home country prior to being accepted into the program. Each student is responsible for his/her own spending money and full health insurance coverage.
To learn more about applying to become a host family, contact Tennessee representative Emily Rolin at (269) 625-4662 or via email at e.rolin@international-experience.net.
Host families may review prospective student profiles online at iE-USA.org.
iE-USA, the sponsoring program, is certified by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel.
