Seventy members of the all-volunteer Bartlett Community Concert Band entertained a crowd of about 175 Saturday night with stirring renditions of John Philip Sousa’s music.
The season-opener concert was in the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center.
“It was a great concert, and it seems like the audience really enjoyed it,” said Chris Thorne, president.
The band is directed by Dr. Rhendle Millen and was founded in 1991. For more information on upcoming performances, see their website.
