St. Ann Catholic School (SAS) has announced the Sister Connie “Passing on the Faith” Scholarship in honor of Sister Connie Tarallo for her dedication, service, and commitment to the Catholic faith and to St. Ann Catholic School in Bartlett.
Sister Connie is a member of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth and an active member at St. Ann Catholic Church. She was a first-grade teacher at SAS from 1971 until her retirement in 2013.
She said, “Nothing succeeds like success and nothing would please me more than knowing that a child will have this opportunity to achieve and succeed at St. Ann. The Sister Connie Passing on the Faith Scholarship will now enable this to happen. Thank you!”
The purpose of the scholarship is to reward students who are formed and grow in the Catholic faith at the school. These students have proven that they carry on the faith in actions and words. These scholarships also serve to help those families in financial need as they strive to give their children a Catholic education.
Two scholarships will be awarded each school year to qualifying students whose parent(s), grandparents, or guardians meet the financial requirements as defined by the Private School Aid Service (PSAS).
Donors can support the Sister Connie “Passing on the Faith” Scholarship by sending tax-deductible donations to St. Ann School online or mailing donations to the following address: St. Ann Catholic School, Attn: Sister Connie Passing on the Faith Scholarship, 6259 Stage Road, Bartlett, TN 38134.
