Prospective jurors in Shelby County can now respond online to reserve jury selection dates.
Citizens who receive a jury summons from the Shelby County Jury Commission, can go online to reserve their jury service time without having to make an in-person visit to jury qualification events, which are often attended by hundreds of people. Go to https://ejuror.shelbycountytn.gov to fill out the juror questionnaire form.
Important note: Jury summons forms must be completed online within five days of the summons date; otherwise the recipient is required to appear on the date and time specified on the summons.
Tennessee law requires citizens to serve jury duty once every 10 years.
