‘Sandwiched’ series educates caregivers of people with memory loss, dementia

Sandwiched SeriesThe Foxbridge Assisted Living and Memory Care Community will continue its monthly “Sandwiched” caregiver education series for 2015.

Balancing the responsibilities of work, finances, family life, and caring for an aging loved one can leave people feeling quite “sandwiched” and in need of support. Caregivers are invited to attend 5:30-6:30 p.m. Jan. 15 for a session entitled, “Understanding Memory Loss and Dementia.”

Ruthann Shelton, Executive Director of Alzheimer’s Day Services of Memphis, Inc., will offer an overview on recognizing the differences between memory loss and the warning signs of dementia.

To attend, call 901-377-0101 or go online to www.foxbridge.org. The program will be held at Foxbridge, 2180 Mangum Road in Memphis. A light supper will be served.
