Bartlett residents and other area gardeners snapped up bargains Saturday at the Bartlett City Beautiful Commission’s annual plant sale, held at the corner of Stage and Whitten Roads.
The event raises funds for the commission to carry out its duties:
- To beautify the streets, highways, alleys, ditches, lots and yards
- To remove and eliminate of trash and other debris from the streets, highways, alleys, lots, yards and plots
- To encourage the placing, planting and/or preservation of trees, flowers, plants, shrubbery, and other objects or ornamentation
