Quadruple Overtime Thriller

After a first half that saw only seven points scored between the Arlington Tigers and Cordova Wolves, both teams exploded for a combined 49 points in the second half before reaching a 28-28 tie. Four overtimes and 41 points later, Arlington (8-2) limped away with a 49-48 win and a shot at knocking off 7-3 Hendersonville at home Friday night in the first round of the Class 6A playoffs. The third-seeded Tigers would take on either Franklin or Station Camp if they were to win Friday’s game.
