On March 28, 2013 an Application for Authority to Construct a FM Translator Station was tendered for filing with the Federal Communications Commission by American Family Association to serve the community of Memphis, TN, on channel 294 (106.7) with a power of 0.05 kw from an antenna of RCAMSL-300m/RCAGL-198m. The Applicant proposes to locate its transmitter at: North Latitude: 35 degrees, 9 minutes and 16 seconds and West Longitude: 89 degrees, 49 minutes and 20 seconds at: 7192 Raleigh LaGrange Rd, Memphis, TN, 38018.
The translator station will re-broadcast the signal of noncommercial education station WKVF-FM, located in Bartlett, TN. The principals in the application are: Dr Gayle Alexander, Chairman, Timothy B Wildmon, President, Michael Murphree, Secretary Treasurer, Walter Billingsley, Rev Bill Bradford, Dan Celia, Rev Chad Grayson, Merrill Johnston, Rev Curtis Petrey, Rev Terry Pierce, Ray Pritchard, and Heywood Washburn.
