Bartlett’s Dorius Bell brings down Arlington’s running back.

The Bartlett Panthers forced five fumbles and two interceptions last week against rival Arlington and rolled to an impressive 42-0 win over the Tigers at home.

With junior running back Robert Giaimo leading the charge, Bartlett picked up 141 yards on the ground. Giaimo had 95 of those yards and four touchdowns.

On defense, junior safety Bryan Whitehead Jr. paced the Panthers with one interception and one forced fumble. Senior corner back Brandon Wallace chipped in a third quarter pick-six on a Zach Baker throw. This essentially capped off the game since the Panthers were already up 35-0 at halftime.

Junior quarterback Ty McNeal threw for one touchdown and 71 yards. His favorite target was junior receiver Khyron James who scored a touchdown and had 67 reception yards.

Bartlett is now 5-3 on the season and will host King Prep on Oct. 25. The Panthers will then wrap up their regular season on Nov. 1 against Collierville.

The Tigers are also 5-3 on the season and will look to lick their wounds on Oct. 25 when they host Collierville.
