The Bartlett Panthers finished their season on a high note Friday night by beating Kingsbury 21-8 on the road. The win was Bartlett’s second in its last three games. While neither team had much success on offense in the first half, both teams combined for 22 points in the second. Bartlett scored consecutive touchdowns on runs from Braylon Porter and Jurieen Martin. Kicker Drew Hollis completed both of the extra point attempts. Porter and Martin finished the contest with 139 and 97 yards, respectively. Kingsbury scored before the end of the half on a five-yard redzone pass from Eric Cole to Ray Andrews. Cole was held to fewer than 30 passing yards in the game. He was also picked off twice by the Panthers’ defense. After another scoreless quarter in the third, Bartlett again found the end zone in the fourth on a short run from Martin. The Panthers (3-7) finished the game with 254 rushing yards and 18 first downs.
