Bartlett running back Marquavis Weaver was a bright spot for the Panthers in an otherwise dreary game Friday night against undefeated Whitehaven. Weaver had 88 rushing yards but the Panthers fell 55-0 thanks in part to Whitehaven running back Kylan Watkins’ 222 yards and five touchdowns. Whitehaven’s defense swarmed the Panthers, allowing only 18 passing yards and eight first downs. Bartlett (3-5) is off this week but will host rival Arlington on Oct. 21.
