The Bartlett Panthers fell to 1-1 on the season Friday night after losing to Houston 59-34 on the road. The Panthers hung with the Mustangs in the first half and went into halftime down only six points. However, Houston used a 18-7 run in the third quarter to pull away from Bartlett for good. The Panthers were outscored 30-11 in the second half of play by 3-1 Houston. Houston’s Marlon Hunter led all players with 17 points. Bartlett senior Aaron Bell led the Panthers with seven points. Bartlett will play at MUS on Nov. 29 before hosting Germantown on Dec. 3.
