Judith Rowe Mathews
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Judith Rowe Mathews, 78, passed away peacefully in the early morning on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, after a long struggle with dementia.
She was a Methodist from Central Arkansas and graduated from Bartlett High School and Memphis State University. She was the only child of Odis Rowe of Hope and Cora Florence Rowe of Conway, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her son, Rowe Erle, and her husband, Robert Hassell. Judy is survived by two sons, Miller (Mat) III in Tampa, Fla., and Monty, with daughter-in-law Julie, in Saint Augustine, Fla. She is also survived by five grandchildren, including Conley Anne, Montgomery Moss and Charlie Bennett, all of Rogers, Ark.; and Landon and William of Tampa.
