Memphis author pens strategy for spiritual growth

Bartlett named No. 1 U.S. city for single moms
The number crunchers at NerdWallet.com have discovered the best cities for single mothers: Bartlett has come in at No. 1.
To find these places, their researchers asked the following questions: Can a single mom make enough to cover both rent and childcare? Is the community stable? Can single moms have a decent quality of life?
Just 6 percent of single moms in Bartlett live below the poverty line, compared to a national average of about 50 percent.

2 studios seek cancer survivors for celebration
The Bartlett and Germantown Fred Astaire Dance Studios are seeking five breast cancer survivors each to dance in Dancing With The Survivors on October 2, 2014. The nationwide, signature fundraising event will benefit The Pink Fund to celebrate breast cancer survivors who thrive in their recovery and make a difference in the lives of other cancer patients.
