A Shelby County firefighter helps Bolton High School students understand just how serious a car accident can be at the school’s April 22 mock crash event with plenty of help from student volunteers representing the Awesome People Club, the school’s drug and alcohol education organization. In the scenario, students and emergency personnel simulate a fatal two-car wreck caused by a drunk driver. Students paid $2 to attend the annual educational event, held at the football field. All funds raised are going to Project Graduation Party. Photo by Tyrone Randall
