Minnie Lou Green died at the age of 83 in Memphis, Tenn., on Saturday, March 15, 2014. She was a Christian wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Mrs. Green supported her family of three children, ages four years, one year and 10 days old, while her Marine husband was on an overseas military tour.
Mrs. Green is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ronald I. Green; son, Ronald I. Green Jr. (Janice); daughters, Theresa Nabors (Jerry) and Patti Sims (Michael); four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, and the service was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 19, at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following. The family requests that any memorials be sent to Great Oaks Church of Christ or the Alzheimer Research Foundation.
