While spooks and specters abound this time of year, The Amazing Kreskin bills himself as a bona fide mentalist, wowing audiences with his ability to read theirthoughts and make the impossible seem possible.
He takes the stage at 8 p.m. Saturday night at the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center, and his offer to critics still stands: He will pay $1 million to anyone who can prove that he employs paid secret assistants or uses secret hidden electronic devices to aid in the accomplishment of his mental powers.
