Several communities have festivities and closures planned this weekend in honor of Memorial Day. The following have announced their schedules. 
BARTLETT
• American Legion Post 249 will host a Memorial Day ceremony at Veterans Park, located at the corner of Bartlett Boulevard and Bartlett Road at 10 a.m. Monday. Bartlett City offices and the library also will be closed Monday, and trash pick-up will be delayed one day, with Monday pick-up on Tuesday and Friday pick-up on Saturday. The Bartlett Recreation Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 8p.m.
ARLINGTON
• A Memorial Day service sponsored by the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities will be held at 9 a.m. Monday at the Arlington Cemetery on Chester Street. The Town Hall will be closed Monday and will re-open at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
LAKELAND
• The City Hall will be closed Monday, and trash pick-up service will be delayed by one day.
