An MLG&W worker trying to locate a gas leak in Bartlett Monday came across an unresponsive white male lying in the back yard of 7960 Terry Franklin Drive.
On Wednesday, Bartlett Police identified the man as Jeremy Bryant, 25. He was the homeowner at that address. Additional details are not yet available.
Police and fire officers were dispatched to the scene around 3:46 p.m. on Monday, and Bartlett Fire personnel pronounced the male dead. Police detectives and investigators from the Shelby County Medical Examiner’s Office are investigating the case and attempting to determine the cause of death.
The investigation is in the very early stages, and Bartlett Police say more information will be provided as this case develops.
