Local College Student Recognized Among Who’s Who at Mississippi College

Clinton, Miss. – A premier group of Mississippi College students were recently honored for their campus leadership, scholastic excellence and community service. Sixty-seven students out of the 600 eligible were inducted from the Clinton campus into Who’s Who Among Students at American Colleges and Universities.

“This is an outstanding group and represent the very best of Mississippi College,” says Jim Turcotte, vice president for enrollment management and dean of students.

Dr. Scott Tynes was the keynote speaker at the luncheon held in their honor on November 29th. Dr. Tynes is a physician and the corporate president of Mississippi Family Medicine P.C. in Waynesboro. The 1984 chemistry graduate and former MC student body president was himself a Who’s Who honoree his senior year at Mississippi College.

Among those selected for the 2012-2013 Who’s Who Among Students at American Colleges and Universities recognition were:

Brennon David Hodges (pictured in the attached photo with MC President Dr. Lee Royce), a marketing major at MC. Brennon is the son of Mr. David Hodges of Lakeland, Tenn.

Jennelle Christine Jones (pictured in the attached photo with MC President Dr. Lee Royce), a social work major at MC. Jennelle is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Jones of Lakeland, Tenn.
