The classic tale of the little wooden boy carved and brought to life kept families smiling at Saturday’s performance of “Pinocchio” at Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center. Dame Gina Geppetto carved the figure, who learns to walk and then sings and dances his way to becoming a real boy, accompanied by the Blue Fairy and Jiminy Cricket. Britain’s Panto Company kept the musical adventure lively with scenes of Stromboli’s zany traveling show, Pleasure Island and the inside of a whale’s mouth.
