NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Bartlett Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing to consider the following request at the Planning Commission meeting on Monday, July 7th, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at Bartlett City Hall.
Bruce and Whitney Hudgins, AAA Collision Center, is requesting a special use permit for an Automobile Paint and Body Shop on Lot 2, Grace Subdivision, located on Summer Avenue. This property is in the C-H Zoning District.
A copy of this proposal may be seen in the Planning Office at the Bartlett City Hall Annex, weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Comments may be addressed to the attention of Terry Emerick, Bartlett City Hall Annex, 6382 Stage Road, Bartlett, Tennessee 38134, and are to be received no later than 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 7th, 2014.

Pursuant to the requirements of the State of Tennessee and Ordinances of the City of Bartlett, Tennessee, the following information is published and made known to all interested persons: The Bartlett Board of Mayor and Aldermen will meet on Tuesday, July 8 , 2014 at 7 p.m. in the Bartlett City Hall Assembly Chamber to consider the following Ordinance:
Ordinance 14-05, an ordinance to amend Title 15, Chapter 1, Section 15-134(2)(c) of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Bartlett, Tennessee to modify the penalties and fines provisions for seat belt violations.
Any citizen who may wish to appear and testify either for or against this Ordinance will be heard. Written comments either for or against this Ordinance will be considered if received by 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014. These comments should be addressed to the attention of Mayor A. SHELBY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING
CONTRACTOR CERTIFICATION FOR GRANT FUNDED
ACTIVITIES AND SECTION 3 CONTRACTORS MEETING
Shelby County, through the Shelby County Department of Housing, provides a variety of community development and rehabilitation services for low-to-moderate income communities, individuals, and homeowners throughout Shelby County. These services are carried out under the auspices of federally funded programs such as CDBG and other grant programs.
Currently, the Department of Housing is accepting applications from contractors for program certification. This will enable contractors to participate in bidding opportunities for grant programs operated by the Department of Housing for the Fiscal Year 2015 which runs from July 1, 2014 – June 30, 2015.
All contractors interested in participating in both contracting opportunities with Shelby County and the Department of Housing’s Community Development and Housing programs, who are currently a Section 3 contractor, or who would like to find out more about Section 3 contracting opportunities should contact:
