NOTICE OF CITY OF BARTLETT APPLICATION FOR FEMA-PDM GRANT

The City of Bartlett has applied for a Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant to assist in the remediation of the properties at 3673 Thistle Valley and 2810 Alfaree.

A public meeting will be held for citizen input and informational purposes at Bartlett City Hall Council Chamber at 6400 Stage Road on July 25, 2016 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. For information please contact Rick McClanahan at 385-6499.

Pursuant to the requirements of Ordinance 8-307 of the City of Bartlett, TN, the following information is made known to all interested persons:

ALDI (Indiana) L.P, has applied for an OFF-Premises permit to sell beer at ALDI #66, located at 2867 Kirby Whitten Parkway, Bartlett, TN 38134

The Bartlett Beer Board will meet at 6:00 p.m. on August 2, 2016 at The Bartlett City Hall, 6400 Stage Rd., Bartlett, TN, to consider the above application after a Public Hearing. Any citizen who would like to appear and testify either for or against this application will be heard.

SHELBY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING
CLIENT ENROLLMENT FOR REHABILITATION SERVICES

The Shelby County Department of Housing officially announces that it is accepting applications from eligible applicants for rehabilitation services during Shelby County’s 2017 Fiscal Year that runs from July 1, 2016 – June 30, 2017. Assistance under Shelby County’s Rehabilitation Programs is available to individuals who meet federal income guidelines, are owner-occupants, and live within unincorporated Shelby County and all local municipalities outside the City of Memphis. All assistance is subject to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s approval of the Shelby County Annual Action Plan for the 2016 HUD Program Year.

To be eligible for rehabilitation services, households must be considered low-to-moderate income. This means that a household can apply for assistance if annual income by household size is less than:

1 person: $33,700
2 person: $38,500
3 person: $43,300
4 person: $48,100
5 person: $51,950
6 person: $55,800
7 person: $59,650
8 person: $63,500

Regular office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Assistance under these programs is provided on a first-come first-served basis and is based on the submission of a fully completed application form. Shelby County especially encourages applications from income eligible handicapped and elderly individuals located in the service area whose homes are in need of rehabilitation services that will enable them to remain in their homes. Shelby County is committed to providing the highest achievable quality of services to all residents of Shelby County without prejudice, regardless of their race, color, religion, gender, familial status, or national origin.
