The Bartlett City Beautiful Commission drew a good share of shoppers despite gray skies this past weekend with their annual plant sale. The event was Friday through Sunday at the corner of Stage Road and Whitten Road under the large tent and in front of Holliday Flowers.
Organizers said they provided variety of bedding plants, shrubs, colorful azaleas, hanging baskets and ornamental trees at a competitive price. Knowledgeable volunteers were on hand to assist with planting ideas or answer any questions about plants or planting needs.
This event is the commissions largest fundraiser. All proceeds go back into the community to support the events and the many projects that City Beautiful does to keep Bartlett a beautiful place to live, work and shop.
