Last Thursday the Lakeland Middle Lions continued their inaugural season of basketball, with the boys’ and the girls’ teams traveling to Millington to take on the Millington Middle Stallions. The Lions, who played in their home whites while awaiting the arrival of their road uniforms, had flashes of greatness against Millington, hitting three-pointers, making no-look passes and battling for the loose ball to gain possession.
