Lakeland will welcome this spring with its free annual festival on May 14 at the Delta Blues Winery, 6585 Stewart Road.
Attractions include hot-air balloon rides, live music with Ted Horrell and the Monday Night Card, food trucks, hay rides, face painting and other family-friendly fun.
The balloon rides will be offered for $15 per person (or $45 for four people) from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Reservations for balloon rides may be made online at bit.ly/LAK-balloon-rides-2016.
Lakeland will kick off its inaugural Tour de Lakeland Bike Ride at 9 a.m. on May 14, as well. Competitive cyclists, recreational cyclists, need-to-be cyclists, and even children and grandparents can choose from three rides (a five-mile fun ride, a 25-mile ride, and a 45-mile ride).
All proceeds benefit the Lakeland Education Foundation.
