Lady Tigers headed to State

The Lady Tigers won the game 69-43 to advanced to the championship game. Arlington played the District 13-3A champion Munford Lady Cougars in the Region 7-3A final. The Lady Tigers outlasted the Lady Cougars 33-29 to earn a home Sub-State game Saturday night. Arlington took care of business in the Sectional round beating the Southwind Lady Jaguars 63-44. The Lady Tigers are in Murfreesboro this week participating in the Class 3A Girls State Tournament taking on Bearden in the State Quarterfinal round. The Bearden Lady Bulldogs enter State with a 28-7 record. Arlington made the trip to Middle Tennessee with a 27-7 mark and District 14-3A and Region 7-3A titles. Photo by Thomas Sellers Jr.
