
Arlington’s AD Streetmen and Lakeland’s Taegan Allen were among the 18 Lady Saints who competed in the Tennessee State Cup.
A record 18 members of the Briarcrest Lady Saints soccer team participated in the Tennessee State Cup in Murfreesboro on May 30 through June 1.
Sophomores Morgan Jones and Natalie Leopold, as members of the 1998-99 Lady Lobos Select, won the D3 State Cup U-16 Division last weekend.
Freshmen Lauren Cummings, Payton Moore, Ashton Pugh and AD Streetman are members of the 2000 Lady Lobos Premier team that finished second in D1 U-14 State League and will play next weekend for the State Championship.
Kaley Smithmier plays for the 2000 ASA Gold team that finished third and will also play for the State Championship in D1. Another freshman, Brianna Pope, plays for the 2000 Lady Lobos Elite team and will be competing in the D2 State Championship as well this coming weekend.
They went 2-1-1 in their side of the bracket to finish second and qualify.
Sophomore newcomer Taegan Allen plays for the 99 Lady Lobos Premier team that finished first in the D1 State League for U-15 by scoring 23 goals in six games and only giving up two. Sophomores Marianne Agee, Abby Lollar and Addie McDaniel are members of the 99 Lady Lobos Elite team that qualified for the D2 State Championship for U-15 by winning their last State League game.
Sophomore Kaitlin Echols and juniors Brittany Hatmaker and Alyssa Neuberger play for the 98 Lady Lobos Premier team that qualified for D1 State Cup in U-16 by finishing as a finalist in last year’s State Cup.
Junior Allison Samisch is a member of the 98 Lady Lobos Elite team that won the western division of D2 State League for U-16. In five games, they scored 22 goals and gave up zero.
Senior Megan Henry and junior newcomer Holland Heinz play for the 96 Lady Lobos Premier, a team that finished first in U-18 State League thus also qualifying for the state championship.
