Ron Arrison retired April 1 as the executive director of the King’s Daughter’s & Son’s (KDSH) Nursing Home in Bartlett.
He began his service at KDSH in 1987 after serving 22 years in the U.S. Navy.
More than 200 attendees surprised Arrison with a retirement ceremony on March 26. Bartlett mayor Keith McDonald presented him with a proclamation naming March 26, 2015, as Ron Arrison Day.
Arrison said he was humbled by the event, attended by representatives of the Tennessee Health Care Association in Nashville, colleagues, friends and residents of KDSH.
He was noted for his leadership, expertise and compassion.
