Joshua Hugh Rosson, 25, of Hickory Withe and associated with the family-owned business Rosson Construction Company in Arlington, died Dec. 18, 2013, at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Ark. He had been a patient for two days. Services were Dec. 22 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel in Oakland. Interment was in Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64.

Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center.

Mr. Rosson was born on April 28, 1988, in Dallas, Texas, to Lloyd Hugh Rosson Jr. and the former Melissa Carol Bay. He received his early education in the Bell County, Texas, Public School System. After moving with his family to Arlington, he continued his education, graduating from Bolton High School. Joshua was a partner with his family in the operation of the Rosson Construction Company in Arlington for the past 10 years and was on a construction project in Arkansas when he became ill.

He was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed sports like water activities, golfing and fishing. Collecting and trading Hot Wheels and repairing older vehicles were favorite pastimes.

Mr. Rosson is survived by his fiancée, Jeri Nicole Ellis of Arlington; his son, Jackson Hugh Rosson of Arlington; his parents, Lloyd H. Rosson and Melissa C. Rosson; his maternal grandmother, Jean Bay; and his paternal grandmother, Elizabeth South. Casketbearers were Ryan Soroka, Ryan Lubin, Harold Eskridge, Brandon Washington, Jacob Ellis, Drew Lawson, James Windburn and Chris Goodwin.
