Collierville High School helped conclude the 2019 football preseason at Landers Sportsplex, hosting a jamboree. Teams involved in the event were the Houston Mustangs, Bartlett Panthers, Millington Trojans, Arlington Tigers and Fayette-Ware Wildcats. Those teams were joined by the host Collierville Dragons for 20-minute scrimmages in preparation for next week’s official season-opener games.
After freshman action on the field, Bartlett took on Houston with the Mustangs, winning the 20-minute game. Fayette-Ware was defeated by Arlington in their scrimmage. And the Dragons closed out the night with a win over the Trojans.
All these teams will be in action this Friday night with Arlington vs. Halls, Bartlett vs. Douglass, Collierville vs. Southwind, Houston vs. Southaven and Millington @ Liberty. Games are scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m.
