Jerry “Bart” Jackson Jr. and Elizabeth “Liz” Carver announce the marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Renae Jackson, to Kevin Michael Cullison, the son of James “Jim” and Margaret “Peggy” Cullison of Broomall, Penn.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Bolton High School. She graduated in 2005 from Mercer University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (B.S.E.) degree and obtained her Master of Science degree in 2008 from the University of Memphis and the University of Tennessee Joint Program in Biomedical Engineering. She is currently employed as a physician-scientist trainee (M.D./Ph.D.) with a focus in cancer immunotherapy at Saint Louis University School of Medicine.
The bride-elect’s father, Bart Jackson, is married to Charla Jackson and resides in Bellville, Texas. The bride-elect’s mother, Liz Carver, is married to Paul Carver of Munford, Tenn.
Ms. Jackson is the granddaughter of Joseph “Joe” E. and Annie (Novak) Stransky of Needville, Texas, and Marie (Nichols) Jackson of Pearl, Miss., and the late Jerry Bart Jackson Sr.
The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Marple Newtown Senior High School in Newtown Square, Penn., and a 2004 graduate of Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Penn., with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in 2012 and is currently employed as an emergency medicine resident at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Dr. Cullison is the grandson of Albert Cullison of Bryn Mawr, Penn., and the late Anne (Foley) Cullison, and Dr. Henry “Hank” and Maryanne (Hollman) Doherty of Wynnewood, Penn.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Saint Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in St. Louis, Mo. They will reside in St. Louis.
