Samaritan’s Purse to collect shoeboxes of gifts Nov. 14-21
The Mid-South is famous for its generosity, and that includes participating in a program to decorate and fill empty shoeboxes with toys, school supplies and hygiene items for young people in need around the world. There are multiple locations in Bartlett that will be accepting donations for the Samaritan’s Purse project Operation Christmas Child this week through Nov. 21.
The gifts go to children who are living in the midst of poverty, war, disease or natural disaster. For a complete list of drop-off locations, searchable by ZIP code, visit samaritanspurse.org/occ.
