Bartlett to air ‘Minions’ outside in park this Friday

The popular free spring movie series, Bartlett Movies in the Park, will air “Minions” on an outdoor screen at W.J. Freeman Park May 13 after sunset.

BCCB ready for May 13 concert

The Bartlett Community Concert Band (BCCB) has its Spring Concert planned for 7 p.m. May 13 at the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center (BPACC), 3663 Appling Road, Bartlett.

Admission is $7 for adults and free for children under age 6. For updates, check the band’s website at bartlettcommunityband.org.

Traffic signal work planned for Saturday

The City of Memphis will be working on the lights at U.S. 64 (Stage Road) and Brother Boulevard (Appling) this Saturday in Bartlett. The signal will be down all day and will likely affect the city’s traffic.

Golfers: Tee up for Bartlett’s sesquicentennial tourney May 20

Bartlett’s Sesquicen-tennial Golf Tournament is coming up soon on May 20. The event benefits the West Tennessee Veterans Home Inc. and will be held at Quail Ridge Golf Course, 4055 Altruria Road, in Bartlett. The shotgun start is at 1 p.m. and the cost is $100 per person.
