Good Friday and Easter closures
With Good Friday on March 25 and Easter Sunday on March 27, area municipalities have announced their closures:
- Bartlett city offices, the library and animal shelter will be closed on March 25, but the Bartlett Recreation Center (BRC) will be open for its regular hours. Trash pick-up will not be affected on Good Friday. The library and BRC will be closed on Easter Sunday, March 27.
- Arlington’s town offices, library and senior center will be closed on March 25, but recycling will be picked up on Friday as usual.
- Lakeland’s city offices and senior center will be closed on March 25, but trash pickups will not be affected that day.
Bartlett Movies in the Park to start April 1
The popular free spring movie series, Bartlett Movies in the Park, will begin on April 1 with a showing of “The Lego Movie” at W.J. Freeman Park after sunset. Cross your fingers there will be no Friday night April showers!
BCCB plans April 2 concert
The Bartlett Community Concert Band (BCCB) has a concert planned for 7 p.m. April 2 at the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center (BPACC), 3663 Appling Road, Bartlett. Admission is $10. Check for updates at bartlettcommunityband.org.
