Ex-teacher gets 3 months in jail for statutory rape

Former Bolton High School math teacher LaTorrence Bivens, 31, has pleaded guilty to the 2013 aggravated statutory rape of a teenager.

It was announced Tuesday that he has been sentenced to 90 days and will be on probation for three years.

He was reportedly in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old student at his apartment in Memphis during January through April 2013.

Fireworks, food and fun come to Arlington
