‘I Am Woman’ mini showcase slated for Jan. 25
Le’Chiq Catering and Dining is hosting a mini showcase called “I am Woman” 5:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 25.
The event will be at 5788 Stage Road, Suite 1, in Bartlett. There will be food, drink, music, speaker, games and vendors; seats are limited.

Sue Foell portrait workshop slated for Feb. 1
Nationally recognized artist Sue Foell will conduct a workshop in portrait painting for oils or acrylics on Feb. 1 at Decatur Trinity Christian Church at the corner of Summer and Altruria in Bartlett.
The class, organized by the Bartlett Art Association, will be 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

BPACC to present actor/musician Ronny Cox for Feb. 8 performance
Ronny Cox will be on stage at the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center at 8 p.m. on Feb. 8. You may not recognize his name, but his career spans more than 125 major films and TV shows, so you’re certain to recognize his face.
His first time acting in front of a camera was as the guitarist in the famous “dueling banjos” scene in “Deliverance.” The actor/musician has been writing songs and telling stories for more than 40 years. With his acoustic trio, he charms crowds with self-teasing humor and a lulling Southwestern folk sound.
