Bartlett Parade Rescheduled
A winter weather delay last Saturday moved the Bartlett Christmas Parade to Dec. 14. This year’s event will be a static display rather than a mobile parade, held behind Bartlett City Hall from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Afterward, Santa will hear Christmas wishes inside, and a miniature village will be on display.
Arlington Parade Canceled
Arlington has canceled its 2013 Christmas parade after bad weather prevented the event on Dec. 7.
Art Tour Moved to Dec. 14
The Fagan-Carpenter Studio has extended its participation in the Rural Route Holiday Studio Tour because of poor weather on the original dates during last weekend. The studio will showcase the paintings of Deborah Fagan Carpenter and the sculptures of Jimmy Crosthwait on Dec. 14.
Hours for the event are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 14. The studio is at 4881 Canada Road in Lakeland. For details, call 384-9132 or go to faganart.com.
