Girl Scout Troop 10190 recently donated more than 300 books to the Boys Center library at Youth Villages, presenting them to principal Kelly Goss. The troop collected the books in the fall of 2017 as part of a service project in order to earn their Junior Bronze Award. Kathryn Booth, an adult leader of the troop and the daughter of RTI (response to intervention) tutor Linda Booth, originally created the library in 2010 after collecting more than 1,600 books. Booth’s previous donation earned her the Gold Award, the highest award a Girl Scout may earn. Courtesy photo.
