Galloway Levee Road in Arlington will be closed Oct. 6-16 for pipe replacement and drainage repairs, Shelby County officials have announced.
The road will be closed east of Collierville-Arlington Road. The detour will be for about four and one-half miles:
- For drivers traveling south on Collierville-Arlington Road at Galloway Levee: Continue south approximately 1.6 miles, and then turn left and go east on U.S. 70 approximately 2.8 miles to Galloway Levee.
- For drivers traveling west on U.S. 70 at Galloway Levee: Continue on U.S. 70 approximately 2.8 miles, and then turn right and go north on Collierville-Arlington Road.
