Free and fun Citizens Police Academy

Twice a year, the Bartlett Police Department puts on a multi-week program to let local adults get a taste of what law enforcement is really like. They practice with walking up to cars on simulated traffic stops, get a close-up look at the work done by the K-9 unit, fire pistols at the range, try their hand at lifting fingerprints and and experience much more in a well-rounded 10 weeks of police work.

All of this is free, but space is limited for each class; class slots typically fill up months in advance. See photos from previous classes and contact information for signing up online.
