At the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center (BPACC), youths in the Theatre-Kids program are ready to dance and sing their way through a production of the Broadway musical “Footloose.”
The production is scheduled for four performances — Feb. 26, 27, 28 and March 1.
Putting the actors through their paces are Rebecca Sherrod, director; Dr. Jemmilou Rye, musical director; Otis Smith; choreographer; and Carrie Paulo, assistant director and stage manager.
This is BPACC’s fourth annual musical theater production for its TheatreKids. Last fall, in preparation, Smith held a five-week dance boot camp to prepare children for the challenging dances.
