Sheffield check
Managers of Collierville’s Sheffield Antiques Mall, Richard Vannucci and Dana Voorhees, recently presented Mid-South Food Bank president Estella Mayhue-Greer with a donation check totaling $5,637. The donation was generated from the mall’s Mardi Gras Celebration on March 4, when more than 500 visitors enjoyed the party. The money amounts to 16,911 meals for hungry people in the Mid-South.

COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. — Sheffield Antiques Mall hosted a Mardi Gras Celebration benefiting the Mid-South Food Bank on March 4.

The benefit, which included an array of Creole dishes, live jazz from the Carl Wolfe Quartet and a treasure hunt, resulted in almost $5,700 for the Food Bank, which distributes millions of pounds of food to hungry people across the region.
