Congratulations to St. Ann Catholic School Bartlett fifth-grader, Anna Trakul, for winning the citywide “Take a Bite Out of Crime writing contest” hosted by the Exchange Club. The theme of the essay was, “If I were an FBI SAC Agent for the day I would …..”

St. Ann students took seven of the eight finalist spots.

Trakul was honored at a luncheon and received a cash prize along with a hat and a certificate awarding her the job of Deputy Sheriff. Her teacher, Priscilla Williams, received a $50 award and an invitation to be a volunteer for the Exchange Club.
