Crayola recently selected arwork by Ellendale Elementary School fourth-grader Ashley DeGuzman for a national honor.
She has a copy of her work, and the original artwork will become part of the permanent collection at the U.S. Department of Education in Washington, D.C. She was one of only 39 students nationwide to receive this honor in 2015.
Her work was chosen based on the merits of visual appeal, originality, age appropriateness and craftsmanship.
