“Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” has multiple performances remaining this week and next at at Evangelical Christian School, 7600 Macon Road, Cordova. It opened on Nov. 2, and remaining dates are Nov. 3, 5, 9, 10 and 12, all at 7 p.m.
The production portrays the trials and triumphs of the biblical figure, Joseph, and the production is directed by Becky Caspersen and Whitney Branan, with musical direction by Carl Caspersen. The diverse cast will share the story of Joseph through a mixture of country, rock, bluegrass and reggae music.
Amelia Beckham, a Germantown resident, will perform the role of narrator, and Collierville resident Brice Boyer will portray Joseph. The role of Pharaoh will be played by Willis Yarbrough of Piperton and Cole Jackson of Germantown. The production will also feature the talents of Randall and Stephen Timberlake, the father and brother of Justin Timberlake. Tickets may be purchased at ecseagles.com.
