Drama and Dessert

The Lakeland Senior Center Players starred in “Dastardly Deed at Dry Gulch” for Dessert Mystery Theater on Nov. 7 in Lakeland. Attendees at the amateur theater production got to guess who killed the sheriff. Was it the mail-order bride, the gambler, the bandito, the saloon gal, the dear old doc who drinks just the littlest too much, or even perhaps the school marm? Desserts and door prizes were also provided. Admission was by donation. The event was at the International Harvester (IH) Clubhouse at 4523 Canada Road in Lakeland. Photo by Amanda Swain
